Both tables apply to every machine kind. An es-chromium machine is billed exactly like an es-python one, at the band its position in your fleet falls in. Raise mode multiplies the machine and detection subtotal by 1.5. The total is rounded down to whole dollars. No: EyalSec has no free tier and no trial. The way to see es-python before you buy is a live demo on your own code, booked through the contact page, after which EyalSec sizes and sets up your account. Pricing is metered from the first machine, with no plans, seats, base fee or minimum, so a small pilot costs what a small pilot runs.
A machine is one computer, server or container you register on the dashboard and install an EyalSec product on, whatever it runs. An es-python machine and an es-chromium machine are billed at the same monthly rate, and both count toward the same volume bands, so your eleventh machine is cheaper than your tenth whichever product it runs. Deleting a machine you no longer need frees its slot straight away.
A detection is one occurrence of untrusted data reaching a dangerous operation that EyalSec reports, including a repeat that only raises an existing event's count. It is not one row in your events list: how finely events are grouped into rows is your own setting and never changes the price. Events that a Don't send rule drops are never sent, so they are not detections and are not billed.
Yes: with Report and Raise mode on, the machine and detection subtotal is multiplied by 1.5. Reporting works on every account at the base rate, and the calculator shows the price with and without Raise side by side. Blocking is something you switch on with Raise rules that name the operations to stop, once Raise is enabled for your account, so the multiplier applies only when you choose to block.
No: there are no plans, seats, base fee or minimum, and the monthly price is the per-machine rate plus the per-detection rate for what you actually ran. Both rates fall as volume grows, in marginal bands, so the first ten machines are priced at one rate and the eleventh onwards at a lower one. The total is rounded down to whole dollars.
